SAT Math Steps
Privacy Policy

Effective July 29, 2026

This policy describes how the SAT Math Steps mobile app, published by Inspire Education Labs, handles information. The iedulabs.com website is a separate matter and is described near the end of this page.

The short version. SAT Math Steps collects no personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server. Everything the app records stays in the app's own storage on your phone, and nothing is sent anywhere.

What we do not collect

The app does not collect — and contains no code capable of collecting — your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, school, mailing address, location, photos, contacts, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers.

It contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no crash-reporting SDK. It makes no network request that carries information about you.

What is stored, and where

When you begin a problem, the app writes one row to a database held in the app's own private storage on your device. That row records:

That is the entire record. It holds no field that identifies a person, and it never leaves the device.

Age checks

Laws in several US states require an app to respond to an age signal supplied by the app store. When SAT Math Steps opens, it asks the operating system's age API — Apple's Declared Age Range or Google Play's Age Signals — for an age range.

The answer is used for one decision: whether to allow access, and whether an outbound web link may be shown. It is then discarded. The age range is never stored, never written to the database, never transmitted, and never used for any other purpose — including the wording or selection of anything promotional.

Children under 13

SAT Math Steps is intended for students in grades 9–12 and is not directed to children under 13. If the age signal indicates an age under 13, the app blocks access and records nothing at all.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Because the app collects no information from anyone, there is no such information for us to hold or delete.

No advertising, no personalization

The app shows no advertising of any kind. Where information about Inspire Education Labs programs appears, it is identical for every user — never selected, ordered, or worded on the basis of anything the app recorded about your practice.

No third parties

No third-party service receives data from this app. We do not share, sell, or disclose anything, because nothing leaves your device. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we have never done so.

Deleting what the app stored

Deleting the app removes its database along with it. Because there is no server, no copy exists anywhere else and no request to us is required.

Your rights

Privacy laws in California, Texas, Virginia, Colorado and other states give you the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to return, correct, or erase. You are welcome to write to admin@iedulabs.com with any question about this, and we will answer.

Leaving the app

If the app store confirms you are 18 or older, the parent report may offer a link to iedulabs.com. Otherwise that report shows a QR code carrying the same address, so that an adult can open it on their own device. Following either one takes you to our website, which the next section describes.

The iedulabs.com website

This section covers the website only. It is written here because the app links to it, not because the app shares anything with it.

The website has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising or tracking pixels. The inquiry form on the home page asks for your name, email address, and the program you are interested in; submitting it sends those three fields to Web3Forms, a third-party service that relays the message to us by email, under its own privacy policy. We use what you send only to reply to you. Contact links elsewhere on the site open your own email application instead, and reach us directly.

Pages load a web font and an icon font from third-party content delivery networks (Google Fonts and jsDelivr), and the About page embeds a Google map. When your browser requests those files, those providers can see your IP address and browser details under their own policies. They receive nothing else from us.

Changes to this policy

If we change what the app does with information, we will update this page and change the effective date above. Any change that added data collection would also be declared in the app stores' own data disclosures before that version shipped.
